At the turn of the century, the house became known as The Ellerslie Manor House, named after Ellerslie, the neighborhood of Bensalem it was located in. Before that time, it used to preside over a 300-acre wheat farm. It is one of the oldest period structures, not only in Bensalem, but possibly in all of Bucks County, PA.

Renovated in 2023, Ellerslie Manor House features two distinctly unique wings, Manor and Farmhouse. Each has their own honeymoon suite, groom's lounge, bridal suite, additional bedrooms, kitchen, and several bathrooms.
