The Ellerslie Manor House (EMH), a historic property circa 1714 - 1830s, is located directly next to our outdoor ceremony space known as “the secret garden”. At the turn of the century, the house became known as The Ellerslie Manor House, named so after Ellerslie, the neighborhood of Bensalem it was located in. Prior to that time period, it used to preside over a 300-acre wheat farm. It is one of the oldest period structures, not only in Bensalem, but possibly in all of Bucks County.
The recently renovated Ellerslie Manor House features two distinctly unique wings, Manor wing and Farmhouse wing, each having their own Honeymoon Suite, Groom's Lounge, Bridal Suite, additional bedrooms, a kitchen and several bathrooms.
Daytime use (11:00 am to end of event) is complimentary with your evening wedding reception booking as the getting-ready-and-taking-photos area, while overnight accommodations for 8 to 10 people can be made available upon request. No actual events or after parties are permitted in the Manor House.
