A long time ago, while planning their own Philadelphia wedding, Mark and Karen were overwhelmed by the stress of the wedding planning process. They vowed to "do something about it". Fast forward a few years, having graduated with business and communications degrees, they both had gained administrative, event hosting, sales and customer service experience working for a variety of companies. In 2002, they decided to take it further - it was time to make the wedding planning process more enjoyable and positively worry-free for local couples engaged to be married. An opportunity to completely renovate an outdated catering hall presented itself, and so La Luna Banquet Hall was born. In 2004, La Luna partnered with PTG Catering and chef Gil, a talented and caring professional with 25 plus years of experience in the cruiseline, restaurant and catering industries. As they say, the rest is history!
And so La Luna Banquet Hall was born, a unique Rustic/Elegant Mediterranean-inspired facility located in Lower Bucks County, PA, and a perfect venue for the wedding of your dreams. Upon arrival, enter through the picturesque patio with intricate wrought iron arches and a classic marble fountain framed by a pergola - a perfect setting for an outdoor summer wedding ceremony or for an alfresco cocktail hour. Another separate and more private "secret garden" area is available for ceremonies. Once inside, the enchantment continues as you and your guests stroll past a cozy courtyard with a lion's head fountain and into the elegantly-appointed ballroom. The same Old World charm and style can be found in the spacious VIP bridal party cocktail room with a private entrance. Our fabulous wedding packages include everything you may desire from premium open bar service, delicious displayed and butlered hors d'oeuvres, the grand buffet or an elegant sit-down dinner service, complete with color-coordinated table linens and napkins, china, silverware, and fresh floral centerpieces accented with candles. A custom-designed wedding cake is a sweet indulgence you and your guests are sure to enjoy. Our friendly and experienced staff will guide you through the planning process and will take care of every little detail to make your Big Day truly enjoyable for you, your family and guests, creating an experience to be cherished for a lifetime!
In December of 2014, the facility underwent another major renovation where a glamorous cocktail lounge was added (pictured above featuring Jenna & Jay, wedding 11-24-17), while the "secret garden" area now features red brick paver walkway all the way to the altar.
In November of 2015 we are pleased to announce a new exciting addition to our lovely venue, The Ellerslie Manor House, circa 1714. This historic house, only a few steps away from the main reception building, is now available to our bridal parties as the getting-ready-taking-photos space, as well as overnight accommodations for 2 - 4 people.

We continue to make improvements to the property, like completely repaving and re-striping the parking lot at the end of 2017. Other improvement projects are always in the works!
Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been following CDC and Department of Health guidelines/enhanced cleanliness procedures for businesses to ensure our guest and employee safety. Please feel free to inquire further on current regulations and precautions.
Hundreds of weddings and special occasions later, we are just as excited to host your special event today as we did for our first clients many rewarding years ago! And we thank you for the opportunity to be of service!
